For the last couple of weeks, I've been talking to you about rooms.
First I asked:
What if your next level requires a different room?
Then last week:
You don't need more contacts. You need your people.
There was a reason.
Because this week, we're opening another part of the Top 100 ecosystem.
The Top 100 Community.
But before I send you the official invitation and show you around, I want to talk about what I hope you'll do differently once you get inside.
Because I really don't want this to become another online group you join and forget about.
Don't just join. Be findable.
I've joined enough communities over the years to know how this normally goes.
You sign up.
Write:
“Hi everyone, I'm Natalia. Lovely to connect.”
A few people welcome you.
You scroll for a bit.
Then work gets busy.
Three weeks later, you can't remember the password. 😂
That's not what I want for this.
Because the platform isn't the valuable bit.
The women are.
The experience.
The expertise.
The relationships.
The access.
The conversations.
The opportunities.
The woman who has already solved the problem you're facing.
The woman who needs exactly what you know.
The woman building in a country you've been thinking about entering.
The woman who knows somebody you should know.
And perhaps...
the woman whose next door can be opened by you.
That's where the value is.

I love the reciprocity in that.
Not one person standing at the front with all the answers.
One sharpening another.
That's what the right relationships can do.
They stretch our thinking.
Challenge assumptions.
Show us another way.
Remind us what we know.
Introduce us to what we don't.
And sometimes help us see ourselves differently.
The right room isn't valuable because everybody inside it is the same.
It's valuable because of what becomes possible when different experiences, relationships and perspectives meet.
FOUR WOMEN. FOUR DIFFERENT ROOMS OF EXPERTISE.
This October, you'll meet women inside Top 100 whose work sits in completely different spaces.
Women like Lettie Ar-Rahmaan, Carolyn Hantz, Torriel Harris and Jessica Starks.
And that's intentional.
Because I don't want Top 100 to become a room where everybody has built the same thing, works in the same industry or is at the same stage.
I want the founder to meet the corporate leader.
The expert to meet the strategist.
The woman looking for her next move to meet the woman who has already navigated something similar.
And the woman who has access to recognise where she might be able to open a door for somebody else.
Sometimes your next opportunity doesn't come from somebody who does what you do
It comes from somebody whose world intersects with yours in a way neither of you had considered before.
That's why these women aren't simply names on a Summit programme.
They're part of the proximity we're creating.
WHEN YOU GET INSIDE, DON'T JUST TELL US YOUR JOB TITLE
Because imagine how much easier connection becomes when we actually know those things about one another.
Instead of:
“She's a consultant.”
We know:
“She's trying to take her consultancy into the US and wants to meet women who've already done it.”
Instead of:
“She's in corporate.”
We know:
“She's thinking about what ownership could look like alongside her career.”
Instead of:
“She's a founder.”
We know:
“She's looking for corporate partnerships and has brilliant expertise in her field.” - Now we have something to connect.
FIND YOUR CIRCLE 🤎
Inside the Community, you'll start seeing different circles and conversations.
Use them.
Don't try to be everywhere.
Find where you belong right now.
And remember something we've talked about before:
You won't always need the same room.
The woman building her first business needs different conversations from the woman preparing to scale internationally.
The woman moving from corporate into ownership has different questions from the woman who's been a founder for fifteen years.
The expert who needs visibility has a different bottleneck from the woman who already has visibility but needs to turn it into revenue.
Neither is ahead or behind.
They're simply different moments in the journey.
Find the conversations that match yours.
YOUR FIRST COMMUNITY CHALLENGE 🤎
I'm giving you something to do once you're inside.
Find three women.
Not 300.
Three.
ONE: Find a woman whose work genuinely interests you.
TWO: Find a woman who knows something you would like to understand better.
THREE: Find a woman you believe you could help.
Then start a conversation.
Not:
“Hi, I'd love to tell you about my services.”
Please don't do that. 😂
Talk.
Ask a question.
Comment thoughtfully.
Share something useful.
Make an introduction if you can.
Build the relationship before you need the relationship.
That's how communities become valuable.
THIS IS BIGGER THAN THE SUMMIT
I also want to make something really clear as we get closer to October.
The Top 100 Summit is one of the rooms Top 100 creates.
It isn't the whole of Top 100.
We're building an ecosystem around Black women's:
Visibility.
Relationships.
Opportunity.
Ownership.
Legacy.
Some rooms will bring thousands of women together.
Some will be intimate.
Some will be digital.
Some will happen around a dinner table.
Some will create visibility.
Some will create education.
Some will create opportunities for us to turn our access outward.
And now...
we're creating somewhere for the relationships to continue between those rooms.
That's what the Community gives us.
THIS SUNDAY, I'LL SHOW YOU AROUND
I don't want to simply send you a link and say:
“Here's the Community. Good luck.”
So this Sunday, I'm going to send you something separately.
I'll show you around.
I'll explain how the Community works.
Where to find the different circles.
How I want you to introduce yourself.
And how to start using the room rather than simply joining it.
Then I'm going to give you your first mission:
Introduce yourself. Find your circle. Connect with three women.
Simple.
Because I'd rather see you build three meaningful relationships than collect another 300 contacts.
So watch your inbox on Sunday.
That's when we're properly opening the doors.
