About Yasmine Arrington-Brooks
Yasmine Arrington Brooks is a CNN Hero, L'Oréal Paris Woman of Worth, Washingtonian of the Year honoree, and nationally recognized nonprofit leader, speaker, and social entrepreneur. Her work has been featured on The Drew Barrymore Show, Dr. Drew, CNN, and in local and national media. As Founder and Executive Director of ScholarCHIPS, she has grown what started off as an epiphany and business pitch into award-winning nonprofit that has provided more than $700,000 in scholarships and comprehensive support to over 140 children of incarcerated parents.
Inspired by her experience having an incarcerated parent, Yasmine founded ScholarCHIPS at just 16 years old and has spent the past 15 years transforming personal adversity into national impact through education, advocacy, and storytelling.
Through her keynote presentations and masterclasses, Yasmine equips purpose-driven leaders with practical strategies to build strong brands, increase their visibility and credibility, strengthen their organizations, and create lasting social change.
