About Stella Ngozi Mbubaegbu

  • Stella Ngozi Mbubaegbu CBE is Co-Founder of the Black Leadership Group (BLG) UK, a national organisation established in 2020 to translate collective moral urgency into sustained structural reform. What began as an open letter to government has grown into a UK-wide leadership platform convening senior leaders across education, public service, business and policy to examine governance, equity and institutional accountability.
  • A movement-led founder and systems thinker with over two decades of leadership experience, Stella works at the intersection of power, organisational design and human dignity. Her focus is practical: how do values become enforceable? How does belonging become measurable? How do leaders build systems that endure beyond the spotlight?
  • She is also Founder of the Ethical AI & Leadership Studio, where she developed the Structural Intelligence framework — a leadership lens for diagnosing systemic constraint, designing enabling conditions and embedding ethical thresholds within AI-enabled and high-stakes environments.
  • Her work supports founders, executives and institutions navigating growth, complexity and technological disruption without losing moral clarity.
Stella speaks internationally on anti-racist leadership, ethical governance and responsible AI integration. She brings a distinctive perspective that bridges movement-building with institutional architecture — asking not only how we respond to the spirit of the time, but what we are prepared to institutionalise in its wake.
