About Chioma Fanawopo
- My career began in education and the charity sector, where I worked closely with young people, families, and communities to support wellbeing, leadership development, and positive life outcomes
- I previously served as a Team Lead heading a Youth Department, leading programmes, teams, and partnerships to create meaningful opportunities for young people. This role strengthened my ability to build bridges between individuals, organisations, and systems to deliver lasting impact.
- I am a former school governor and have served as a trustee and committee member for Girls’ Brigade, alongside broader board-level experience. These roles have deepened my understanding of governance, safeguarding, accountability, and equity, and continue to shape how I approach leadership and decision-making.
- Alongside my coaching and governance work, I run the annual Purposeful Parenting in the Digital Age Summit, which brings together experts and families to navigate modern parenting challenges with clarity, intention, and practical tools.
